Leader Terms (Modified)

Dear Clashers,
I think CoC should have leader terms in the Clan system. The leader of a clan has a certain amount of time (possibly 2 months) as leader. Once those 2 months are up, or within days of that time, you are able to vote for the next leader (which is able to be the same leader as before) privately (no one can see the votes, not even the leader, could be shown percentage for the top 2 candidates after voting is over). Each clan member has an unlimited amount of terms. Co-leaders could be appointed by the leader, but Elder is just earned respectively. Edit: Once you start a clan (and once/if this is added, current clans) you will be given a one-time option to decide if you want Terms or if you do not want Terms.

Pros:
Everyone gets a chance at being leader
Seems more realistic
Optional (Choose "Democratic Clan" when making the clan to use this, Choose "Dictatorial Clan" when making the clan to use the current system.)

Cons:
Leader could kick out everyone, Leader may end up turning into Hitler (I don't mean to hurt anybody with the use of that name, sorry if I did).

Solution to Cons:
Leader can only kick a certain number of people per time period (2-3 days possibly)Quick overview:Completely optional once you start a clan and current clans will be given the option, too.
Clanmate with highest percentage/most votes becomes leader.
Everyone gets unlimited 2 month (may very in length) terms as leader.
Everyone except the leader can (but not everyone has to) vote for the new leader.
Votes are not public to the clan.
Leader can only kick a certain number of people per 2-3 days (may vary).
Co-Leaders appointed by leader upon election.

As great as this may work in organized clans etc. this would fail in the casual anyone can join clans. Just adding this is but some random high level can join a low clan and basically low about giving gems or bringing more high members in which is a big cause of clan kicking now and then people could vote him leader and he could kick everyone.

I don't think this is a good idea since it wounlt be fair for a leader to build up a clan and for a new person to take his leader ship away from him.

No reason to have this as it 'can' be done now, just it would not realistically happen

I don't like the idea for other reasons. Members with multiple accounts essentially would get multiple votes. Wouldn't be fair.

Secondly, I busted my butt working with the clan, donating, be active....just to get co-leader. I don't want some 5 new members deciding that "it's their turn"

The ONLY way I can think anything like this could be useful is, if the leader hasn't logged into the game at all in a couple months, let the coleaders seize power, just so that there can always be an active leader...

Ummm... That's a really big con you got there. I don't think leaders want their hard work of building up their clan destroyed in seconds when he's replaced by some random guy in Master because everyone in the clan thinks he's SOOOO good, but then that Master in turn kicks everyone out of the clan.

So here are my thoughts.

I think many people have missed the part where you said this is optional...so if a rightful leader has his spot unrightfully taken, then it's his fault.

However, I also feel that in order to have a fair vote, there needs to be more than 50 voters/clan members, which is ruled out, making this system less effective.
