TH8 Upgrade Log & Is upgrading tesla worth it?

- DE Drill upgrade started
-#3 Archer tower upgrade started.

And woot! All HT are level 3 now. Once the next archer tower is done, i'm hoping to start my hidden tesla to level 4 now and this time, i'll be going 2 at a time so my progress with other defences don't slow down too much.

I have read the +/-'s of should or shouldn't upgrade Tesla's. I think if you have the resources and builders available you might as well get them as high as you can without putting your base at risk if that would be possible.

yeah ive been through them as well. Right now im happy that I got my HT to level 3. Level 4 next. Step by step to level 6 before I upgrade to TH9 hopefully.

I never said upgrading teslas put my base at risk. I was just asking whether it was worth it for the time it takes to upgrade for just 1 level.

I'm nearing the end of TH8 in terms of defensive upgrades.

I upgraded my CC very early on and highly recommend you do it if you haven't already (i only read the first 7 pages of the thread lol). It's a fairly fast upgrade too and can help you on offense and defense.

I upgraded my mortars and wizard towers to max, followed my air defenses/cannons, and just got all of my AT to lvl 9.

Now I'm working on teslas and I will definitely be upgrading them to max. I still have plenty of level 8 walls to do and I will have a builder or two working on collectors and lvl 10 AT to have a builder free in between the long tesla upgrades.

They are worth maxing. If you take the time to finish your lab research and walls, the teslas should get done in the meantime. Sure it's long and boring, but so are many upgrades. If you have 4 builders, just keep the 3 teslas going and leave 1 builder on walls.

Yeah i've upgraded most of my AT to level 9. After the last one is done, CC for sure.

Well, i'm thinking about keeping 2 for HT upgrades because I still got other defences to do. Walls are still a pain in the ♥♥♥ for me.

Well, loving the update right now and been raiding a lot.

- Barb king to level 4. YESSS! ONE MORE LEVEL.
- Wallbreaker to level 5 finished. Finally 1 shot gold walls.
- Lightning Spell upgrade started.

Update: Since a lot of people "advised" that CC is an important upgrade, i moved it all the way from bottom to 2nd place. I still want to get those teslas to a decent level before i think about anything else.

If you have an active clan the CC is the absolute best upgrade you can make. I think it only takes 2 days to jump from CC3 to CC4. The extra 5 troops may not seem like a lot, but when they're defending your base that's 5 extra targets your opponents have to take out, 5 extra "defenses" firing to protect your lands.

And on offense having those extra troops can make a difference in succeeding or losing as well.
