Wait so is this serious or a joke?

At first it was totally serious. I was trying to explain that some people try so hard to triangulate their defenses that they lose the point of a well designed base. Then I posted a quick tongue-in-cheek "awesome base design" as a joke on what a "fully triangulated, but poorly designed" base would look like.

Some people simply didn't understand the joke, or did not read the words (my guess is a lot more of the latter) and went only on the pictures.

Either way, it has been fun. The main point still stands though... design a base with more than triangulation in mind.

He was being sarcastic the whole time. He posted this base to show that triangulating isn't the only thing that makes a base good.

This is not a "bash" on you, this is an honest suggestion that may make your life better. You should take a course on reading comprehension... there are lots online for free. I think you have problems with implications and inferences especially. I think if you had a better grasp of reading comprehension these situations should be avoided. You could also benefit from understanding when to "let go" and just accept a situation for what it is. Believe it or not, the more you post about something does not change it in any way whatsoever. What you think happened here did not happen. What you are trying to claim didn't happen, actually happened.

The important thing is that people TOTALLY forgive someone for "missing a point" or perhaps "not getting some humor" we ALL do it, and you are supposed to be a little red-faced and then laugh about it with everyone. What people cannot stand is someone who MUST BE RIGHT and will talk/post you to death until you BASH THEM INTO SUBMISSION with your "explanation of the explanation of the explanation" and use charts and graphs and quotes from famous people to PROVE you were actually right all along: the word IS flat!!!!

I call it the 3x9 because there are nine compartments and each has three buildings (or you could call it the headless duck, cause that's what it looks like).
