"Currently no one is aware of how many troops players have donated for the war map bases. This is especially a big issue in our clan, because we have agreed to only have the higher levels donate in order to have better troops in everyone's War Clan Castles. However these donators, including myself do not receive any credit for the huge amount of elixir and dark elixir burnt to create max level witches, dragons and wizards. "
This would motivate your lower levels to donate for the credit/donation numbers/XP. If you are donating for the credit, thats not what your motivation should be. I like the way it is to keep it no incentive for low level players to spam troops and allow higher levels to donate for the benefit of the clan

For some reason, that is not getting though to the people that only care for some count for gratification...

Please no, cause too much problems

    1. People be more motivated to donate giants (This almost lost us a war, ended up being a tie)
    2. People should learn you do not need direct rewards every time for "helping"
    3. It would be heavily abused if they allow troop release.
    4. It makes ill feelings of those that can't donate because they are "not strong enough"

I still think the best solution is allowing 100% elixir/dark elixir return on what is donated on wins (80% tie, 50% loss)

No "gain" prevents my list from happening.
Perhaps I should comment on the solution you offer in bold.

Elixir/Dark elixir returns when war is won sounds enticing as I'm one of those that spends 300k++ elixir distributing wizards to the clan's WC.

However, there is a potential abuse of this feature. People could use it as a 'stash' for their elixir and more importantly dark elixir. Although, if the cost return is zero when they lose the CW, this would become a risky move.

It's also possible for lower levels to stash away their E/DE by donating low leveled high cost troops such as wallbreakers and if these people took the chance to hide them, warcastles might get filled with wallbreakers or other DE troops that have high cost.

Overall, it could render the clan leadership unable to control what type of troop should be within the WC, but other than wallbreakers, other more expensive troops do have some credibility for defending as a CC troop.

That's what I could think of it. We would never know how people would truly react unless it made its way into the game.

Well if you have the troop release thing, it would prevent the want of doing some of that.

Plus donating stupid runs a big contributor to losing so

Say you are the winning clan, your wallbrakers are released, you do not get elixer for those.

My idea was assuming the elixir/dark elixir returned is what is in the war castle at the end of the war. Of course only the user of the war village can release troops.

I guess if you wanted to be a jerk, you could release them at the last second but the finished log still shows what is in there after the war is over. (or end of prep phase for that matter)

So if I was lead ( I would do it anyway) would scout that to see if anyone is trolling in that way to give a warning/ kick for doing it more then once.

The reason I said 50% for loss and not zero is people complained about the cost being too great with the risk for little reward. So if the war bonus is pure reward (100% return on troops) while loss is a bit of the war bonus and 50% amount used for defense, it might change the mind of those people and conclude the potential gain is now worth the risk to go to war.

What I'm trying to achieve here is to have some sort of a way to at least notify the ones who are helping in war map donating and let the leaders especially know WHO those are and WHAT they donated.

It's what I'm trying to do, and if we SEE what people donate, I don't understand HOW does that make the game ANY worse. You can simply deal with the ones donating giants and other useless stuff.

No you cant! esp when that was put on the ruled out list calling it "too hardcore" (no idea what this means)

Having any kind of tally/reward only encourages bad behavior, (More so then now, trolling just for the lulz) i do not want it and others here has said the same thing.

Of course you can. Simply kick the ones who are not following the rules you set for your clan. If you cannot do that, then you really can't blame anyone else but yourself for having members like them.

Anyhow, MomoZB, I really don't like talking to you and it is clear to me that you disagree with me. I don't like to debate nor argue, which in my eyes is something you really enjoy. There is really no point of you replying on this thread anymore.

You can't kick someone if you do not know who did it, like i said, that has been put on the ruled out list.

Why do you talk to people when you do not read?

I do not mind "debating" since the idea of doing so is to find out what is best for "insert situation here" until you back up your side without fallacies and read what others are saying while replying to everything said, you will not get far.

Have you ignored what I've said a thousand times? I've stated that they could make it viewable what one donated. Thus you would know who donated and what.

For the fifth time now, they ruled that OUT!
they listed it as hardcore (whatever that means)
So you are the one not reading.

I told you the first time you said that when you replied to my list ...
    *sighs*

Fist off only two is based what happened in my clan and it was once.

Second, your comment for my first is on the current ruled out list (I disagree with it and agree with you we should have a log) but regardless it being on the list is the current situation. So I do not think it is a good idea to try support your idea that is currently on that list. (I still want to know what they mean by "hard core" not to hard to kick someone that keeps donating goblins when told not to and you see that message)

third, you are self defeating with your comment to my number three. As said in this post that remark has nothing to do with my clan. If you get to troop release, you do not see people abusing it? Keep donating giants then getting whatever you are trying to propose. So you ether have the troop release or this (I think supercell said somewhere it was being considered, I can't find where it was though)

number four is not out of the blue. It has been said even by other posters in threads like this, that it is not fair for other members that want to donate and get exp or whatever but can't because their troops are not good enough.

Lasly, ever consider you may not have the best solution to this issue? you missed this comment of mine still

Noe that^ goes with 2. and the fact donating well helps.. idoono.. the entire clan win the bonus loot?
