OK, here's a lesson on the economic reality of CoC. Every single active player uses WAY more gold than they can ever hope to produce with their gold mines. And it's not even close. So all of that storage raiding you do came from someone else who didn't use it - in other words, it came from an inactive. If all that were left were active players loot would totally dry up. So your complaint about collector raids is just ridiculous.
The game that SuperCell set up is one where you need to grind out gold in order to max your base. You just can't grind out gold attacking every hour. And lets just think for a second how long it takes to farm enough gold to max th9 (let's not even go to th10). For walls alone it's 1 billion gold. If you only attack once per hour you will never max th9, let alone th10 walls.
Attacking stronger bases isn't about farming, that's about cup hunting or clan wars. Attacking stronger bases to farm is stupid. It just takes too long.
I'm all for SuperCell making a system where we could progress our base without having to do simple farming. But this is the game they created and if you don't farm efficiently you will never make it to the end.
