0.0 loot at gold II

Wowsers that loot at gold II. I used to play alot and farm around there as a th9 but got busy with life so decided to move up to crystal II/I and train bigger armies and attack every few hours. Just moved back down to gold II and the loot is terrible. I stayed at Crystal III/ Gold I for a bit but it was also horrible. I mean you can't even find a big collector raid. It used to be you could find at least 5 a day with 250k+ of each. I spent last 2 days searching and highest collector raid I found was 139k.

Now the only bases I see are th9/10 with 300/400k but maxed out defences which a regular farming army has no chance of getting. Ocassionally you will see a th8 for 150-180k which I attack but they are rare to find. The rest of the time people you see are offering ~50k.

And I'm not a bad farmer I'm currently working on level 10 walls with everything else maxed. Is the loot always this terrible down here? Should I just move up to crystal again? (I'm a th9 btw)

Today was a bad day for me too. There was almost no easy loot in crystal 2.

Its because the clan wars is here..many players returning to be active so no more abandoned...im using barch in gold 2 before i can full my storage in 8 hours only in week end..but now its better to stay in crystal train stronger troops than normal troops..

When people say "farm" does that mean they only target collector bases?

I do not see how archers and barbrains get anywhere for someone your level.

We had a clan war just now and one of the opposing clan members used archers and barbarains and got like 10% in 2 attacks

TH8 with level 5 barbarians and archers (a few wall breakers, barbarian king and rage/heal) are generally sufficient to crack into the behind the walls storages of similarly developed TH8s (as well as underdeveloped TH9s, depending on xbow placement and orientation and preemie TH10s without inferno towers).

Not trying to be mean but making loot threads doesn't solve the problem, as many other people have told you in a nastier way.
