I would have thought SC could display a little countdown in-game to a maintenance break rather than springing it on us within 5 minutes. Maybe a couple of hours notice would be good to prevent these issues.

It is very annoying. People choose to boost because they have found a couple of spare hours to play. If they can't play then they should be given the choice first.

I agree it will be nice to have a heads up hours in advance.

However, my opinion still stands that this is a small matter and the amount of threads posted about this issue is a sad revelation that way too many people take this game too seriously.

rather than add in some timer to alert us of upcoming maintenance, i would prefer if they would take the remaining time for things like boosted barracks, and have them resume, upon login after the break, opposed to immediately after the break is over >_>

lost last 20mins this break, not sure if i will be up when it comes back, itd be nice to get those 20mins of boosted barracks when i login after the break.
