Welcome to Rise to Glory, mates! – an active & friendly clan for mature players


If you are interested in joining our clan, please read this thread carefully to ensure that you understand what we are about.

Introduction:

- The goal of our clan is to maintain a friendly, relaxed, no-drama atmosphere.


- We have a great bunch of active and strong players who are with us for over several months.

- We are mainly farmer players even if a trophy push sometimes is done with great fun. If you are looking for a dedicated trophy hunter clan environment, you will very likely be happier elsewhere.

- We do have a feeder / sister clan: Rise 2 Glory where the requirements will be mentioned later on.

- We are doing clan wars every two days.


Our Current Membership:

- We have currently around 20 members in the main clan and 35 members in the feeder / sister clan.

- The vast majority of our members are adults. Many of us are in our 30s. The few youngsters among us behave maturely.

- Most of our members are currently at TH8 or TH9, a few ones at TH10.

- With a few exceptions above and below, the majority of our players currently range between levels 70 to 100.

- This is an international clan with players mainly in US/Canada, in Europe and in Australia.



Social side of our clan:


- Our clan chat is very relaxed and informal. We have a range of personalities. You’ll be able to swap stories, poke some fun and come out smiling from the chat window most days.

- Being friendly with a willingness to participate in clan chat is more important to us than your trophy count.

- We have our own private elders’ chat using LINE app to discuss how to handle the clan, share ideas, and make things run smoother.

- There are of course quieter periods, quite natural with an international clan where some of us are likely sleeping when others are online. So donation requests may take a bit of time to fill but this is usual for troop requests to be satisfied in a matter of seconds.

The serious/ambitious side of our clan:


- Focus on long term / Build on trusty players - We’d rather retain a smaller number of solid members who are active, patient and keen to remain part of our longer-term growth than regularly recruit 'hi, start a clan war today – gone tomorrow’ hoppers.

- Having fun is the main goal of our clan. Even if we are active players, people have lives outside of the game and can’t spend the bulk of their days online raiding, and it is fine. We also have among us a good proportion of fairly serious players. You’ll find a bunch of our players have predominantly lvl8 skull walls, many have high level teslas and quite advanced heroes. You’re more likely to receive lvl5+ archers, lvl3 dragons, lvl3 pekkas, lvl5+ wizards, lvl4+ hogs.

- Anyone looking for new tips, strategies or base design suggestions, we have a number of players that should be able and will definitely be willing to help you.

- We have clan war every 2 days. We need players to follow some rules for that, like doing their 2 attacks. If you can’t be active, go to the sister clan and come back after the clan war have started.


Entry Requirements / Who are we looking for?

- Active, friendly and mature adults. However, if you’re slightly younger but reasonably mature, exceptions can be made. You’ll be made to feel welcome.

- Well developed bases preferred. Ideally TH8 and above with lvl5+ archers & wizards, lvl 70+ for the main clan, lvl40+ for the sister clan.

Key Guidelines and Rules:

- Show respect to all clan-mates.

- Please refrain from excessive swearing. Immature behavior, nonsensical spamming of the clan chat or abuse of clan-mates will not be tolerated.

- While advice/suggestions may be appreciated, do not try to dictate how others should play (village design, order of upgrades etc.)

- Donations: Please donate generously, be patient and receive graciously.


- The default donation is archers or wizards (the higher the level the better). Wizards, dragons, pekkas and minions are also regularly donated – although by all means request/indicate your own troop type preferences. If you want something specific, usually, someone will be happy to train them specifically for you. Do not donate wall-breakers or goblins except if explicitly requested.

- Feel free to trophy hunt or farm at whatever trophy range you wish.

- We accept players of any nationality and located in any Country, although with the one caveat that you can and will communicate in English only! Some French can be tolerated J


- Do not request to be made an elder. Elder is earned based on your donations.


- Do not request to be made a co-leader. The intention is that very few promotions will be made. If becoming a co-leader is that important to you, then perhaps this may not be the clan for you.

- Clan war – Put TH inside, use your 2 attacks and go for 3 stars


- Idiots, long-term inactive players, players who does not use their 2 attacks in clan war or those who consistently maintain poor donation ratios (e.g. only 10 donated for every 100 received) will likely find themselves kicked before long.
