I have played casually since release and have no clue what people are giddy about. Never payed attention to anything or anyone like that in any game, much less a free mobile app. Is it possible that humanity has devolved to the point of idiocy so much and is so obsessed with celebrity that people are now star struck by people with literally no talent or skill per say? Oh yeah, this has been happening for a while now. This is a free mobile app and the young tweeners cream themselves if they see a name of some "champ" celebrity. How wonderful would they be if you saw them in life. with their sweatpants they can barely fit into and cheeto crumbs down the front of shirt. 35 years old living with granny.

It's such a sad social commentary and I truly feel sorry for today's youth. You can't fix stupid and stupid 20 years ago is like genius today

I have been playing football (soccer for you yanks) casually since I was 7 years old and I never understood the hype about the top players, I never paid any attention to them, it's not like they are saving the world, all they do is kicking on a piece of leather. I mean, how wonderful are they really, spending their money on partying and some of them are even ugly! 28 years old and still playing a game.

I truly feel sorry for the humanity since 600 AD because they havn't developed anything new, you can't fix stupid and stupid 2600 years ago is like genius today.

For the serious part however, I don't see any problem with beeing impressed by someone that's better than me at something, beeing "sorry for todays youth" just makes you sound like a grumpy old guy that wants attention, people have been impressed by others throughout the history because they can do something themself can't, which I tried to show in my ironic example (I love football and I'm really impressed by the top players btw.) feel free to put in a sport that you like.

And what does looks have to do with anything? Beeing impressed by how someone plays doesn't mean that you have to be impressed by their personality or lifestyle. What you find impressing depends on what's important to you, I like football and I don't expect to be called an idiot because of it and I don't call other people idiots because they find that something different is important to them.

But please don't let me stop you from feeling sorry for todays youth, I'm sure they feel just as sorry for you

That they have the financial background to gem to the top and stay there ?
That they know how to use "fluffy bunny" mod/app to stay on top ?

If you can only be successful if you have the right amount of money at your hands than it can't be called legendary...

I bet out there in the CoC World there are hundreds of players which are more skilled than those at the top... Only problem for them might be that they don't have thousands of dollars available...

Muhammad Ali is someone I call legendary, Elvis Presley is someone I call legendary and many many others.... But seriously I never will come up with the idea to compare them to some "pay to win"-players
