The donations that u make to the clan war castles should show up in the regular castle as well. U are still donating troops and that should count towards your donate/receive total in ur regular castle. A lot of clans base promotions off of donations and u cannot see who donates the troops to the war castles and this would help to show everyone who is donating those troops. Also, I would like to see the next update be able to donate and receive spells. You use troops in battle and you can donate those, I think u should be able to donate spells as well.

Either way, donating spells is even more ruled out than donating resources. Imagine what an extra spell would do for a raid!? I could wreak havoc on everything I please if I just had another one of those suckers
