Hahaha an elegantly simple idea. But personally, I enjoy the character the resource collecting adds to the game. Maybe it just comes from playing for almost 2 years. Also, supercell probably has more important things to focus onOriginally Posted by jonjay123

Yes and a "Play the attack for me" button too, and ... hoo yes, a "Build the next best building for me", and do not forget the ultimate one "I'm on holiday : Auto mode", this last one will update, attack and do the best choices for you till you come back...
It's time consuming cause... it is part of the game...

I'm sure Steve ruled this out, I'll check with Zach, For now;ruled out.
The only time I felt this would have been helpful was not for reasons of laziness; rather, I was experimenting to see how leaving tombstones on the ground would affect the types and frequency of attacks I would receive and whether or not I wanted to adapt this tactic as an ongoing strategy.
Turns out I lost more resources in the end, I got full raided more often, and I got th sniped less often. Basically what I figured, but I wanted some evidence to back up my theory. But I digress..........
As I was saying, I would have enjoyed a "collect all" button only because I would always have tombstones right next to my collectors and I found myself often accidentally clearing my tombstones when I meant to only collect resources. A collect all button would have minimized those mis-clicks (yes, I still zoomed in each time, guess I have clumsy/fat fingers).
Search reveals that this suggestion has been made MANY MANY times before already. So this is definitely a repost.

The button is already on the screen. In the upper right hand corner. Can those icons be turned into "collect all" resource buttons? Seems easy and might make a lot of people happy. One doesn't have to use it they don't want to, but it will make some people happy.

Sorry, but this was not accepted a long time ago. Although it does have a point but it only takes split seconds to collect all resources starting from gold mines, elixir collectors and DE pump.
