    Elixir Troop: Engineer

The engineer is unlocked in the Barracks once a player reaches level 60. The engineer can create turrets and teleporters! Here is some info about a level 1 engineer:

    Training Cost: 15,000 elixir
    Training Time: 20 minutes
    Housing Space: 20
    Damage per second: N/A
    Hit Points: 50
    Movement Speed: 24

The engineer does not do damage. Instead, he plants turrets. A level 1 engineer can plant 1 turret per attack. A turret shoots with no limit on the range. A turret has a range of 15 tiles. If the engineer plants it too close, then it will be shot down by enemy defenses.
Damage per second of turret: TBA

Note: When the engineer dies, its turrets and teleporters are destroyed.

A level 1 Engineer can plant 1 set of teleporters per attack.
"What's a set of teleporters?" 2 Teleporters that link to each other. When troops run on a teleporter, they teleport travel to the next teleporter. Here's the catch: 1 of the teleporters is the one that sends troops. The other one is receives troops. Also, a teleporter can be planted in the middle of a base.

When an engineer is upgraded, its turret DPS increases.

Picture of an engineer: Although I do not have one, I know what I would want the drawing to be.
    -Glasses
    -Labcoat
    -Human features
-A little taller than the wizard

LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK!

Too gamebreaking, make it either to set damaging turrets or porters, but not both.

Besides, how could you control the engineer's turret/teleporter placement? Would be the first controllable unit in the game as far as I know.

Another solution would make it work as a spell instead of an unit with two target locations: the opening and the exit, but being able only to cast it on clear areas or nearby already existing troops (to prevent spawning all kinds of ♥♥♥♥ right in the middle). A limit to units to teleport would help too.

As for "Turret mode" should also be a target spell, or something like a mobile defense (like a siege turret of sorts).

But being honest, aside these points, I don't see much future in such unit, as it would require an entire unit rework to make it controllable.

    I'm a misplaced man..."

Actually, the barbarian king and archer queen are controllable. It would also make players change their bases to make their loot not piled up in one set of walls. I think the engineer would have a positive impact on the competitiveness and strategy of the game.

Said unit, not hero. Maybe I wasn't specific enough. I wrote it that way since his concept of engineer looks like another standard unit (leaving aside tiers).

I don't like the idea. It doesn't go along with super cells theme for the game.

The turret could be a mini xbow that doesnt do much damage because if too much damage it might be OP.Plus this should be dark barracks because the regular barracks would look weird with a new troop and they would have to eventually add 5 more slots(including engineer). I also have to kinda agree with pirate. The engineer doesnt really fit the coc theme. This could be for Boom beach though

Yeah, now that I think of it, this idea seems way too complicated. It also does not fit the CoC theme. Back to the drawing board...
