To be honest when i was in gold league i felt the same...pressing 100 next to find a base with 200k was anoying...but in the higher league and with a decent 30-40min army i dont have to skip as much.

Unless you spent a lot on gems to get your troops/camps upgraded you have to be a super premie TH10 at 3 months playing.
I've been playing with 5 builders going non-stop since last August and I am still considered a somewhat premie TH10. I'm guessing you have TH7/8 defenses/troops at best, so yeah you're going to have a tough time finding loot no matter what you do. :-/

Correct, I earn every resource in this game and I gem only the wait times. But I had full skull walls my first week as a TH8. So I was putting in mad hours. Again, this was when the game was so fun and good raiding was everywhere. I was just about maxed as a TH9 when I moved up to TH10.

Try Crystal 2. I'm making 9 million gold a day without boosts at 2200-2300.

Why just gem users? This is a free game. You shouldn't pay for something like this.

Sounds like you are in the wrong trophy range. If you're not finding any villages with decent loot, you should probably try going higher. Most users I know actually find boosting barracks to be one of the best uses of gems.

OP. They did an "update" where they purposely made you get less loot when you raid now. Make the game less fun!

Actually, for TH 10s (except the most casual ones) that update was fairly good. It finally allowed us to move past crystal and make profits, whereas before the 200k storage cap made it impractical.

Yeah, you just wait for people to spend hundreds of dollars, NERF part of what makes the game fun, and then ignore paying customers who are aren't having fun anymore. I should start a business where I can ignore paying customers! It must be some new business plan I didn't learn about in college.

It helped my TH9 greatly as well. That update was a winner IMO as it balanced out the crazy TH7 loot and horrible TH10 loot to make it even for Town Halls 6+ (mainly 8+)

Do you rely on spells heros at all ? My minions will be level 5 in a few days so I will retry bam once they finish.

Only for storage raids, but even then, not in gold(Usually).
