I have noticed that we are now getting consecutive boats asking for the same item. For me it is cheesecake and soy sauce. My next boat wants more soy sauce, plus two different lots of sushi. Guess where that boat is going - down the river empty, just like the one before it. SC does seem to be trying to persuade us to buy diamonds and hire Tom. Ain't gunna happen!! I am totally over events, and this event in particular. I will do what boats i can, as per normal, but I am most definitely not going to make an effort just for 5 diamonds.

Glad someone else noticed this too. I just got my Third consecutive Chocolate Cake boat! These cakes take too long to make for back to back to back!!

I am hoping for ANY event that gives us double XP. They have never had such an event before. Why not?

I'm pretty nervous about meeting the event goal myself. Don't know if it's due to the rise in the global event number, or what, but it seems we're more behind than usual?

I think we'll be fine. To be "on pace" to reach the global goal now, we should be at 17.9 million boats. We're at 21.6 million. We'll make it.

For this event, I received:

Other than the gold vouchers, none of it was especially thrilling, but I'm pretty happy about getting a little something extra for doing what I would have been doing anyway. Still... given that I might get any and all of these items just during a normal day of farming, it is hard to muster up a lot of enthusiasm for an event like this. Even five diamonds I can get in a mystery box. Wouldn't it be great to get a true "knock your socks off" item that you can't get anywhere else: a unique item that comes with XP for those who don't like deco, a bigger lot of diamonds (10 would get my attention!), or a large box of assorted premium items?

I appreciate that the personal goal increments were reasonable. Is this normal for a boat event?

I've been wanting this since day one. I think the reason SC is not doing this is because they don't want players leveling up so fast and getting bored of the game.

I don't know about u guys, but these events are getting stale. It's the same thing over and over again. None of the prizes are enticing for me, not even gold vouchers. SC needs to rethink these events or tweak them to breathe new life into these uneventful events (for us higher leveled players anyways ) How about more global decoration prizes?

I understand about prizes not tempting but as said above, any bonus is welcome. Still I'm surprised many don't see global boat event as a chance to get XP as much as you can. For me it is better than double XP bonus you are dreaming of.

WARNING: if you care about being on Last Helper tab of someone you don't know, this is not recommended.

First time it came out, I was like.. "yeah, another event, it won't change my play style much". The second time I thought about it and decided to go fill boats, more active than I used to be. Actually filling boat of those top players is what I spend most of time on. In this event, boat does not need to be your own river boat, it can be your neighbors, a stranger from the DD, someone you stumble upon in boat leader board... ANYONE.

If they need to complete their boat for personal goals, I help them.
If top players want to be on top and open unlimited crates for everyone, I see a chance to dump my bacon, goat milk, wheat, bacon and eggs, corn bread, cookies.... way much faster than waiting for my own boat or neighbor's boat to ask for those (my limited number of neighbors are not likely to ask for help on wheat as far as I know). I did fill various products including wheat, rice, tomato, chili, fish pie, yoghurt smoothie (yay, finally I can use them for xp), cakes, pies..... in less than 1h.

People get boat filled and complete personal goals, I get tons of XP. If we win, everyone get diamonds. You are welcome!

Don't get me wrong, it's not that I hate these events, it's just that I feel like it's getting a little repetitive. I do boat and truck orders on a nonstop basis (don't even remember the last time I casted a boat away) so it's a nice bonus to get something I'm already doing all the time. But is it really a bonus getting a LEM or SEM if ur done expanding? I understand it's a way nice way for players to get some items they still need (Vouchers, BEMs, etc) from these events, but I'm sure a lot of players are underwhelmed with some of these prizes and skipped doing some of these events altogether.

This town building game I used to play came out with new decorations every couple weeks. People were excited and flooded to the forum every time it was released. Why not release more decorations with these global events? Why just do it on special holidays? Is it really that hard to design these decorative pixels? Give something for all players to really strive for. Pump some new blood into these mundane events...tweak it a little is all I'm saying. Let's not get complacent with this rinse and repeat mode that we're in...it can be so much better.
