    ♥♥♥♥! A TH8 Farming Layout

    TESTING

    This base needs other clashers to assist in testing its effectiveness. If you have used this base and can share results it's greatly appreciated!



    COMPARISON

    I've seen The Tempest, Shuriken and Nexus Core and others but didn't feel they were a good fit for a farmer, because they have too many of your storages accessible from the outer walls. ♥♥♥♥! ensures your attackers have to push through defenses and walls to reach any storages.

    In addition, some of them have the spring traps at the first entrance to your outside defenses, allowing them to get set off by a single giant or barbarian, essentially wasting your trap rather than maximizing it. ♥♥♥♥ utilizes spring traps on the interior of the outer walls. This means enemies that have just hit your initial open defensive building will be all bunched up when they press forward to attack your next open defense, but SURPRISE! that's when they'll hit the spring trap, ensuring it provides maximum results which can turn the tide of battle.


    FEATURES:

    • Centralized Clan Castle
    • Funneling with Traps On All Sides Of The Base
    • Spring Trap Placement Maximizes Attackers Flung
    • Giant Bombs inside base to prevent being set off by a lone wallbreaker
    • Triangulated Mortars
    • Wizard Coverage On All Storages
    • All Traps Placed To Prevent Attacker From Triggering Them With A Single Troop
    • Teslas Not Exposed Outside Of The Base Grants Added Length In The Fight
    • Air Defenses Triangulated
    • Symmetrical Design
    • Collectors Dispersed Evenly Outside Of Base to Keep Goblins Running In Circles
    • Majority Of Wall Junctions Are T-Junctions Rather Than X-Junctions
    • Wizard Towers Not Tucked Too Deep Into Core, Allowing Their Splash Damage To Come Into Play Earlier In The Battle

    Interesting base, it might work well but I would never use it because I imagine that it would look rather ugly

    Lol, I don't design a base to be pretty, I design it to be effective

    Looks solid to me, been looking for a th8 base aside from transformer for when I upgrade to th8, I will probably try this out

    Awesome, I'm actually 3-4 days out from my TH8 being complete and then I'm going to implement this baby and get some results in this thread when I'm attacked.

    Sorry, just that I'm a big fan of Orz lol, but anyways the bases are all designed for trophy hunting then some changes were made to make it a farming base, so that's the reason why they don't make great farming bases (well, Shuriken is a pretty decent farming base IMO). Now enough with that rant, just wondering, could you please make the base in actual COC? Some people (like me ) have a hard time visualizing the effectiveness of base without actually seeing the base for real in the game. Looks pretty good though(at least from what I can tell), nice job!

    Thank you. I will make this base, the problem is that I'm actually TH7 upgrading to TH8 (3-4 more days) and I've been playing around with various concepts to be prepared for when I get there.

    So when I do get a pic of it from the game, obviously not everything will be maxed.

    I don't like clash of clans builder because it's hard to actually see where things are/go

    Fair enough, while a picture from CoC in-game looks cooler, I actually find the builder pictures to be easier to read the layout without having a trap, for instance, hidden behind something from a screenshot.
