Unfortunately you are stuck with the chicken coop, there isn't any way of getting rid of it. Super Cell has mentioned that perhaps in a future update we might get the ability to trash or store buildings. This was told to me in a emailed support issue-not any definitive plan to add that either-just a "that might be a good feature to add", I just don't want anyone to think that might be coming soon.
