How long does it take to go from 4 to level 5 walls?

On my wife's account, I did all her level 5 walls in a single afternoon. The only way it could take months is if you have no idea how to play the game.

Lol he has 9.7 mill gold grab as a TH8, I think he almost purely relies on mines and pumps for income.
