As an andriod user, in order for me to buy a gem, i shall need to have google wallet. For us to have google wallet, thou shalt need to have a credit card. i dont have one, im not yet qualified for one. making the purchasing method available moot for me. But i believe that i have the purchasing capabilities the willingness to do so.
ypu see, the population of those who has a credit card here is too small and the profile of those who has/have is so different. they are mostlikely cardholders of corporate cards, or managers/execs. try to check if they really are your target market. you maybe missing a lot.
suggestion for future in game purchasing feature:
point 1. Ph is a texting /sms country. were big on loads and have lots of promos being enjoyed as they are being offered by local telcos here:

these companies have e-wallet features also. were the currency is good as cash. -- globe’s Gcash and Smart’s smart money. how about tapping these?
point 2. Load here is also very accesible. we buy prepaid loads through physical cash. how bout trading some of those credits for some of your gems?
point 3. my last point is that i think this is a right that we ought to have the same experience in anyways as those who are in the developed countries. how about taking a closer look at each of your markets’ profiles, you might crack a need not beeing satisfied, and not only that, crack a million dollar more earning capability. thats all.
