Hibear, I don't want to tell you how to live your life, but from personal experience I would save the money and go on a nice trip for a couple of months. The game is awesome, no doubt about that, but 3000 dollars is a LOT of money.. There is more in life. As I said before, I am not trying to tell you how to live your life, but please give it a second thought.

You've got it wrong, THESE PEOPLE are the people who keep the game free.

I understand that its free but I'd rather spend money upfront and have a fully playable game then one full of overpriced IAPs and wait times.

If you want to spend YOUR money spend it the way you feel is best for you. This thread has some interesting comments in it. Yu will have to be committed to playing insane amounts of time but that time is yours to decide if it is something you want to do. Sounds like your in a position with disposable income wether you go on a vacation or spend on COC, buy a car whatever, just do what will be the most enjoyable to you and don't worry about what anyone says

On that note I think you are taking the right steps on educating yourself if it is something you want to do, look at other posts talking about clouds and searching, research attack strats from youtube. Do as you like but I would recomend without spending gems over the next two weeks, go as high as you can in trophies and than make your decision after that.

I wouldn't bother, you don't get anything for getting there apart from trophies on a screen which at the end of the day are meaningless. Anyway there are tons of people spending similar amounts of money to get there and at the end of the day only one person can be there. Just play the game like it is, it's much more enjoyable that way.
