Hit Master/Champion without Clan Castle troops?

is that possible? i'm staying in a weak clan so i dont count much on their troops. i was thinking of finding a new clan but thats the last option. i'm a TH9 with max lv troops, using balloons and minions strategy, sometimes hogs. Thanks

Master III without troubles. Hitting Champ without good cc troops well ....... A lot of patience patience patience and skiiiiiiiillls with your army. Seriously since you're asking no offense but you can improve your raiding style a lot which means you won't be able to make it to champ. You didn't mentionned tthe gem factor too xD

Master3 is easy. With a good TH10 base you can get there even without attacking. Almost made it there that way, but then I started farming again. Champion league I don't know because I've never been there.

I'm sure it is possible, TH7s etc. have got to Champ. But it will be significantly tougher than if you had max cc troops.

My advice - try it, see how far you get. If you reach a plateau, I'd suggest joining up with another clan for a couple of weeks who can feed you better troops and vice versa.

If you're in a good clan they'll understand and support you in your goal to get champ. If they are unhappy with you needing to go elsewhere for a couple of weeks, then maybe they aren't the right clan after all.

Getting to Champion as a TH9 is tough even with clan castle troops. It could be done, but you would need to be really consistent in attacking, patient with the next button, and stay online for long sessions. Gems to boost spell factory and heroes will be pretty much required. By the time you get there you're basically just seeing maxed bases the whole time. Don't expect to win any defences above 2600.

Master should be fine, you see plenty of noobie prem TH10 bases all the way up to Master II

Don't completely discount your CC, even if it's full of level 3/4 archers it could get you the extra % or two you need at the end of a battle

Will get attacked almost immediately upon log out but if you have a decently maxed TH9 base, should be able to win defenses even up in Master 1 and Champs.

You should be able to find TH snipes occasionally and if you have big heroes, CC troops may not be necessary. Obviously stick with air attacks as a TH9 since that's the most efficient way to hit champs so have your clan donate you air troops. I personally prefer loons in CC but others use minions (they get blown up by air bombs) or dragon (who kind of just wanders around aimlessly) so take your pick.

As said above, it is possible. Masters is possible for even TH2s, if they go for TH snipes. Champion is possible, but you might want super good heroes. The people in Sky9 did it but they had CC troops.

thanks for your replies, i will stay in my clan for few days and see if cc troops really necessary, if they are, i guess its time for finding a new clan.
