Sister clans live alongside another clan in a kind of alliance. Neither is a main clan and each acts separately. Feeder clans work to develop players for the main clan. Once they meet requirements for the main they can move there.

Sister clans are just sort of a part of the clan family without being "higher" or "lower" than the original clan. This may be the case if the clan is growing too large but has mostly equal level members and splits into two or if one of the co-leaders of a clan starts another one with the same troop/level/trophy requirements.
Feeder clans are by definition lower ranked than the original clan either by troop/trophy/level and are made up of the members that do not yet meet the requirements set for joining the original clan.
The terms are often used interchangeably though
Sister clans are just an extension of here original clan, that way the original clan will never overflow.
feeders are clans that hold the lower level people for the main clan, so when theyre ready after progressing they can go to the main clan!
