Gem box???

I just have noticed that 3/4 of my clan has never gotten a gem box
then the other 1/4 have just gotten our 3rd or 4th gem box
hows that work
ive gptten 3 gem boxes and my friends haven't gotten 1 gem box
so is there a trick to getting them??
ive noticed that the bases that keep there base super clean and never have a tree or a stump get the gem boxes vrs the ones that have a lot of trees
so if anyone knows anything that would help

No real strategy on gem boxes...they just spawn. It's just like how the xmas trees spawned. Some will get them, some won't. But unlike that, gem boxes are bound to spawn.
