Hi everyone!
First of all I would like to say thank you for taking the time to read this. I appreciate it. I recently created a website that is going to focus on providing everyday Clashers like yourself accurate information regarding what the best trophy range to farm at is.
This concept might seem a little foreign to some of you, so let me explain it quickly. I discovered about a month ago that if I purposely dropped myself below 300 trophies, I was averaging almost 5x the amount of resources gathered over an hour. Not only was I getting more resources, I was getting them faster and with only a small amount of troops (usually around 3-5 goblins and 1 giant).
I created an excel document that would track what the available loot I was seeing was, for specific trophy ranges. One of my co-workers suggested I make a website, and see if I can get the Clash of Clans community to participate.
What I need from you guys is simple. If you have a chance, go to the site and enter in some available loot for your trophy range. The fastest way to do this is if you hit next a couple of times, and just skip fighting (generally what you do anyway when looking for the right person to attack). On each opponent before you hit next, just enter in the available loot and their town hall level. This information is dropped into a back end SQL database I am hosting on an old gaming laptop at my house.
As of right now I am not entirely sure if there is an interest for this sort of information, so if after a month or two I am not receiving a steady flow of traffic and users to the site, I will unfortunately have to take it down. I had to spring an extra 126$ a month for Time Warner Business Class in order to host everything at home.
Please show your support by taking a moment out of your day and inputting a couple of battle's-worth available loot. I have made this process as simple as it can be, just go to the site, fill out the form and hit submit. It will even retain your town hall level and trophy range so you don't have to keep filling that part out.
Let me know in comments here what your guys' thoughts are. The site can be reached at http://www.cocstats.com
