Mines: 6x3000= 18k per hour x24= 450k per day collectors only, say you lose 100k from defenses. 350k per day collectors.
Raid 250k x2= 500k raiding per day
850k total.
One wall per day, or 2 if you raid more. So 225/2= 112.5, so roughly 3-4 months if you get 1 million gold per day. If you play more you can get more done. I normally get 3-6 on a non boosted barracks day
I'll point out that your builders will need to be kept busy on defenses too, unless you've already maxed them for th8.
With only that amount of gold being raided, you might struggle doing def as well as skull walls.
Not worth it at that raiding speed. If you start farming 5-10 mil a day then it won't take too terribly long.

If you only raid 2 times a day with the inclusion of your mines, you are going to spend longer than normal maxing out those walls. With the amount of raiding/time you put in per day, make a goal to do at least 2-3 Skulls which should set you on a decent pace and shorten the time minutely. Other than that, if you want to max them out quickly, farming 4-6 million gold should be your goal which is not as difficult as you may perceive, especially since you are a TH8.
As pham said, make a goal of 2-3 walls a day... I finished my walls by doing 3 a week day and at least 6 on week ends
NOTE: if your sig is right, make sure you get all level 7 walls before u do skulls

How on earth do you raid 5-10 mill a day???
I'm maxed at th8, except my walls (and three big bombs) which I really want to do before going up to th9. It's taking ages.
I can't farm 5-10 million like many people I know without gems, but I guess 4-6 million is pretty close right?It mainly has to do with what trophy count you are at and how fast you are raiding in an efficient manner. If you are using BAM and are in the sweet spot, you can make 5-10 million daily.
I was talking with some of my buddies from the Sky Family and some said that during the 1 gem boost, they were able to farm 36.8 million a day - averages to about 3 mill per hour which is very reasonable.
As a TH8, loot should be pretty decent everywhere. Just use an efficient strategy like BAM and attack bases that offer 200K gold.
