Its all about changing your attack style and how you pick your targets, your going to be attacking Th10 players - no question about that.
But, the thing is you are aiming for premature Th10 players who have a layout that allows you to pick on that portion of the base, meaning out of disco inferno rage (90% have both on disco)
Also, be aware that 2500-2600 isn't that great. Let me explain.
When you get above 2600 the bases change, as people value trophies more than in the Crystal ranges. This means that your more likely to find players who aren't protecting there storages with their top defensive structures. That means if their premature - you can attack them like a normal premature base (for any other th level). Also at this range you get a new breed of collector raids, being bases that simply go without being attacked for an extended period of time (but are active)
How to-
Make 16-20 loons with the rest minions and bake 3-4 rages and a lightening spell or two. Try and get your CC filled with either more lvl 6 loons or a dragon with minions right behind. Wizards will work as well, because they excel at taking out heros and CC troops. Your goal is to use only 1 rage spell, with the lightening spell to deal with any dangerous CC troops (wizards are the worse with archers being a close second if they fan out during deployment. Dragons can be deal with easy enough).
You want bases with a centralized inferno tower or infernos set to single target mode. These infernos should not be providing cover fire for your intended targets. Lvl 1 infernos aren't a big deal if they somewhat overlap, avoid lvl 3 like the plague.
Now look for bases that either have AD located in the outer layer of the base or that are heavily centralized (meaning you can ignore them) - being located 1-3 defensive structures in (meaning the number you have to take about before you can destroy the AD)
Ideally Wizard towers and Archer towers are easiest to neutralized if in the other most layer. With archer towers a simple trick for non-maxed towers is to drop a single minion and then send in a pair of loons (or one is extremely exposed). The same does work on wizard towers but its harder to find those super exposed.
I have not mastered the slow and steady approach to raiding, I still tend to drop fast and hard, but if your careful you can get 50% wins fairly easily. You'll want your queen for insurance, but it may be difficult if she is only lvl 7.
The only problem really for a Th9 player is that you are basically meat to all those th10 players in Masters. You'll want a very exposed TH, which should get you a free shield fairly often. Still, for all practical purposes any loon, hog, or giant/healer combo to walk along is going to walk all over you. I recommend an anti-hog base with a centralized AD or two. It won't stop good attackers, but you'll likely be able to stop poor cup chasers. You'll be easy pickings for any GoWi user that happens to walk by, however.
Your reward, however, is much more consistent loot and a much greater access to Dark Elixir. Not saying its for everyone and doing it at TH9 requires your pretty good with loons.
I got to masters doing this with Th9 offensive abilities (I was a brand new Th10, fresh out of the gates, when I first did it). But do be aware, that your going for 50% wins and the core of a base will likely be off limits and you'll have to skip allot of 800K bases looking for a good target. However, typically in 5 minutes you can find 250-300K in gold and with the loot bonus of 75,000 - you can raid fairly well.
