How do people farm 1 million gold an hour?

In one hour, I do one barracks of barbarians, one barracks of archers, one barracks giants, on wall breakers. They train non-stop, along with ten minions. This strategy gets me about... 600k gold per hour, and 200 elixir per hour. Is my strategy good, or bad? Anyone?

if you are going for trophies push it's ok. If u are farming for loots, it not ok. BAM, BARCH and all Archers are lot better and train faster. My fav is archers + minions.

That doesn't help your loot per hour...

Also when people say 16 hours, they usually mean troops are training during that time, not they're on.

with only 3 barracks (the forth is upgrading) I managed to raid 800k gold, so 1M is average.

I can raid in 1mil in one hour pretty easily, as long as it isn't a consecutive hour. Raid, come back in 15 min when army is done, raid again, and so on.

Another alternative is farming below 200, and especially below 100 trophies. You find powder puff bases down there with between 50-70 k of gold that you can loot with 5-10 archers and gobs, and you can replace your troops as fast as you use them. The last time I was there I was TH8, and managed to average 1mil-1.5 mil per hour as long as I didn't waste time chatting. The big downside is that you have to play long sessions without breaks because every time you go offline you wind up getting a ton of unwanted trophies from others who are trying to keep their trophy count down, and it takes about a 15-30 minutes of low-loot game time to get back to the sub 100 trophy range that produces the best results. You also don't see much dark elixer down there.

Sub-200 farming is fool's gold. The last time I went down there, I saw mostly town hall 6's as a town hall 8, and the town hall 9's and 10's were hogging all the good loot in their storages. So unless you are willing to use hogs/gowipe/balloonion (expensive strategies!) down there, I would not reccomend that you even try sub-200 farming.
