How do people farm 1 million gold an hour?

Seriously, what is your strategy? How are people making over 1 million gold an hour? I'm struggling to make even half of that. I am using Barch in the 1300-1400 zone right now. Collector bases are rare though, and most enemies are too strong for a Barcher army, yet I keep hearing that Barcher is what these people who make 1 million an hour are using. How are you actually doing this?

Use BAM/BARCH. BAM has a much faster training time (15 minutes) compared to BARCH (20 minutes) which allows more attacks in under an hour. Raise your trophies to about 1500-1600 to find more gold offering bases, and lower your standards. Attack any collector base that has 90K but use few troops and tackle any hard base that offers 170K. The more you attack and make in a single sitting is what counts. Raid with half or 3/4 army if you have to.

Boosted baracks will do it. Thats how many people with limits time farm lots of loot.

Another alternative is farming below 200, and especially below 100 trophies. You find powder puff bases down there with between 50-70 k of gold that you can loot with 5-10 archers and gobs, and you can replace your troops as fast as you use them. The last time I was there I was TH8, and managed to average 1mil-1.5 mil per hour as long as I didn't waste time chatting. The big downside is that you have to play long sessions without breaks because every time you go offline you wind up getting a ton of unwanted trophies from others who are trying to keep their trophy count down, and it takes about a 15-30 minutes of low-loot game time to get back to the sub 100 trophy range that produces the best results. You also don't see much dark elixer down there.

I would really only recommend Sub 200 if you are very very active, meaning that you stay on constantly until you are booted/force breaked. Yes it is really good down there because you can use very few troops and attack multiple times (10-20) with a single army, but it's really hard to maintain sub 200. Once you log off, you immediately gain 40-100 trophies.

Dang! i can only get 3-3.5 million with barch on boosted barracks, and I'm only th8. How do th9's do this???

Bam- Quicker, Easier to get into the center of bases

Oh! Thanks! I can raid about... 600-700k gold. I'll lower my standards to 130k for collector bases, though. I need to make my cups count, it's a pain to climb back up again.

Try Barbs, Archers and Minions and keep searching till you find either collected raids or easily accessible storages and snipe those. Make sure you queue your troops before raiding and keep looking no matter how long it takes.
