What to focus on upgrading next?

I am TH8 with all purple walls... I have all my defenses maxed exept for 2 archer towers level 9, 3 teslas level 4 and 3 air defenses level 5... I just finished farming all level 7 walls and it was a pain! My question is should i focus more of upgrading defenses or keep one builder free for level 8 walls between defense upgrade time? Keeping one builder free will take longer time to upgrade defenses. I want to have most of my walls level 8 before going to townhall 9.. What do you guys suggest? Thanks
Also, how long will level 8 walls take? Level 7 took me from 14-16 days

Focus on your defenses more and use your spare gold on your walls. As a TH8, farming all Lv8 walls is a pain but when you get to TH9, you will think 500K gold is a piece of cake.

Lv8 walls depends on how you raid and is kinda dependent on your decision of whether or not you want to do Defenses or walls. If you solely farm for walls and leave defenses for the end, you will most likely farming is much faster..probably 1-3 months in that time frame.

Loot is completely fine for me, people just complain loot is bad cause they can't find any. I've been hitting 200K-300K gold raids all the time where I farm (1500-1600). The only TH where loot really sucks is TH10. Farming walls, if you are thinking of farming your Lv8 walls as a TH9, is much more easier just cause you have better troops to hit those harder, more high offering bases if you need them. But since you are still a TH8, I would just stay as a TH8 and take advantage of the loot down there.

The only wall that is painful are Lv10 walls (lavas). Lv9 walls you get used to and will seem like nothing once you are a TH9 long enough.
