I have discovered an amazing way to use Valkyries. They can be quite OP if used correctly. This attack strategy works well with TH8-9 on ANY Town Hall level. The bases cannot be quite maxed, or the defenses will be too strong for your army. I currently only have lvl 1 Valkyries, so they are not as strong as they can be. I am currently in Gold 1 and it seems to work pretty well. I have even used it in some of crystal league. Below is a guide to using Valkyries properly.
(Using 200 Housing Spaces)
10 Valkyries
17 Wizards
11 Wall Breakers
15 Barbarians
15 Archers
2 Rage Spells
2 Heal Spells
Archer Queen
Barbarian King
With every 5 Housing spaces, add an extra Wizard and Archer (or Wall Breakers if needed)
->Step 1: Heroes. Take them our as well as Clan Castle Troops with Archers and Barbarians. Make a circle around the Clan Castle Troops if they contain splash damage troops
->Step 2: Make sure the troops don't go around in circles: Rage Wall Breakers using only one of your Rage Spells. Clear out extra buildings, if any, with any extra Barbarians/Archers/Wizards (Barracks, Collectors, etc.) so Valkyries and wizards can go straight to the center
->Step 3: Spam all the rest of your troops so they head straight into the center of the base. Use Heal Spells and Rage Spells as needed.
->Step 4: Hero Ability (if unlocked) Activate Barbarian King's ability when not under a Rage Spell. Archer Queen's ability can be used at any time. Preferably when under attacked by heavy fire.
I have had much success!!! Who said Valkyries aren't that good.
