How to use minions effectively

I just got my dark barracks...
How do I use minions effectively to get all or most of the village I'm attacking?

You need to destroy as many air defenses and wizard towers before dropping minions.

When you drop them, don't use all at once, instead send 1-2 first in area you want to attack, to check for air bombs.

Minions are good combined with barbarians/archers/wallbreakers, dragons or balloons.

Using them with barbs & archers (BAM) is very effective. What you want to do is drop a couple to check for air mines and slowly deploy them after deploying most of your archers. But if i were you I'd focus on getting the king first before using de armies

Ok thanks ill use the bam strategy and try to get rid of air mines and air defenses first
