Many of our clan members have been using mass drag, but we currently want an alternate strategy that could be cheaper, and if the enemy has strong AD. It has been mostly TH8 asking for an army strategy. Any help?

Mix in more minions if you have the dark elix. Otherwise maybe throw in a couple giants for meat shield and take out a dragon or two.
If the AD are not deep U can hog them with a handful of hogs. You can lightning most ADs with 3 lightnings if they are deep and bum rush the other one if not real deep.
