I'm a decent th8 and once clan wars came out, I wanted to see how my base would do. Everytime the base was attacked, it was a two star. Why? Because it was always a th9 that attacked with maxed troops and high heroes. I find it extremely annoying that idk how my base truly holds holds due to the 70-90% from giant healers or hogs with giants or whatever, so I decided to just go to th9. Sorry for the wall of text, does anyone else feel that they need to upgrade their THs?

I tell everyone to not waste time and get to th 9 as long as you know how to farm. I rushed to th 9, but my troops are right where a th 9 should be so my farming is top notch. The fact of this game is that the offense always has the advantage, so a player higher than u at th9 will beat you sometimes. The way I feel is if your active, you will get hit mainly at night while sleeping, and if you have a farming base, you get a shield til you wake up and are active again. I notice no difference in my farming, if anything its increased at th9. So I would go for it, I believe th10 is the only one you shouldnt rush too, and ill be at th9 a long time.

If you are only getting 2 starred by th9s then you have a good base. There is no th8 base that can withstand a good th9 attacker. Actually, you should be thanking your lucky stars when an idiot attacks you with giants in clan wars. Giants are great tanks for farming but they really suck when it comes to getting 3 stars.
And don't listen to the guys who say go to th9 early. TH8 is the best farming you will ever find. Th9 is better for clan wars but not for farming.
