see this is the problem, no offence at all, but people like you skip these raids that would use like what 40 troops? and just keep nexting, you might find a 200k raid after only another 2 nexts, but the point is that its worth the investment if everyone just kinda, takes these 150k raids

lol, you do realize what it takes to get 300k of gold from a base in Masters don't you? I think building a 90 minute army and spells to attack a single 300k gold base is a little worse than nexting for 5 minutes in Gold I/II/III

Farming armies are cheap and fast to build armies. They have limited capabilities which include taking out perimeter buildings and one quick push into one section of a base. So, if you find a base with 400k/400k/2000 loot, but it's all in storages spread well across the base, it is basically a 100k raid at best for a farmer.
I take all bases that have loot in collectors, and I don't care if they're 50k, 100k, or whatever. It's very easy loot to get, so I grab it. If I have to burn my 15 minute army to get one storage on a 100k storage raid, it ends up only being 25k looted. So, I will absolutely skip many, if not most 100k gold bases that are in well placed storages.

If the storages are grouped and I'm confident I can get them all, then I will attack it.

Trust me, nobody wants to next and it's not about only waiting for the 200k+ base. Obviously that's a great target to search for, but I take everything the game gives me and over time a good farmer knows exactly how much loot he can get from every base and my threshold is 100k. If I know I can get 100k, then I hit it.

To be a successful farmer, it's all about time efficiency. How much time does it take me to get X amount of loot. This is why Gold Per Hour to me is the most important stat. I know exactly how much gold per hour I loot every time I play. I've spent some time in masters, and there is absolutely great loot, but the gold per hour is HORRIBLE because of what it takes to get it. gold per hour can't be beat in the Gold I/II/III range and occasionally into Crystal.

Not a lot of people have so much free time as you do. Then making a 30 min army to raid in Master (see GoodGuy posts) makes sense (bigger DE and bonus loot). Being stuck on a phone because your army is cooked every ten min and having to next a lot in Gold is maybe not the way everybody wants to play.

If you're a high level TH10, then you can log out for 30 minutes and farm/live in Masters. Sure, that's an option.
However, if you're a TH9 farming for upgrades or a newbie TH10, that's not a practical strategy in my opinion.
I would say rule number 1 of any "build army/log off/raid when army completes strategy" is you have to stay in a range where you don't get smoked 30 seconds after you log off.

btw, it's whatever floats your boat. There's no question there is good loot up in Masters and sure you don't have to "next" as much. So, I guess technically it's a solution to the OP. ;-)

I'm glad I'm not TH10 or anything xD. I have a maxed out TH5 base, just waiting for TH to finish upgrading, mean while I'm upgrading mines/collectors, however, I can search for 5-10 minutes, which doesn't take much gold (170 per search at TH5) and get between150-250k of each on most attacks xD. Jelly?

If that 120k raid has all its loot in the collectors: yes, please. But this is a loot-summary wich i might not see if all the loot is in the collectors or if its in the storages. Thats the first problem.

Second if its in the storages and my oponnent is an average th9, i have to get all 8 storages, wich i most probably wont get with a standard farming army.

So searching for that easy-fail-safe 200k loot means more profit in the end.

So after all, your idea is not as easy as you thought.

ps: yes, i miss those th8/9 times badly, where i barbchered th7/8 for 120k or even 250k each, regardless if it was a collector or storageraid or both. But times change, dont they?
If youre th10, you dont get that much easy loot anymore.

OP is clueless....... this game is ♥♥♥♥ at TH10. Literally a waste of fricken time. It's completely ruin my experience. It's very clear the dev's want you to Gemtech the game from here on out. They know you have invested a good amount of time up to this point. Boy, they have sucked everyone....

Hmmm maybe we should make a thread of all the little things that will help loot and your personal loot; forums are a small percentage of clash though.

But it also depends on your army! If you use barch (15-20 minutes training time w/o boost)" you can only raid about 4 times an hour, meaning 400k-500k gold per hour. Thats not the ideal amount, but it makes sense not to waste thousands of gold on the filthy next button ^_^

if you use BAM which trains insanely fast then going for 100k gold raids are more for you, cus BAM takes like 10 minutes! 600k gold per your assuming you can find the right bases

Just out of curiosity do you have lvl 6 barb/arch? I'm a TH9 and mostly farm at 1800-2000 range with BAM and I'd say 8 out of 10 attacks are against TH9/TH10 bases. Sure, you lose the TH8's when you're a TH10 so there will be a loot drop off, but unless you're still rocking TH8 troops I can't imagine it being quite as dire as you say it is.

Now, if you preemied and don't have TH9/10 level troops then yes I can see your point.
