I want your opinion as I always thought when u get max troops it was easy to win...until a clan war today one of my clan mates attack with gowipe and got 1 star he has all max troops even golems I attacked the same guy with my little lvl1golem lvl3 pekka and lvl5 wiz (I'm th9) but yet I gotta two star so what's your opinion

There is nothing that you can buy only with gems.. you gotta be a bit patient that's all
You need gems to speed up process. You can get everything aside of workers without gems.
You can only compete on highest level with gems, though.
The last two level of walls are around 2 Billion? It's not impossible, but improbable for most. The amount of grinding is insane and kind of unreasonable. If you are ok with lvl 8/9 walls, then it is more probably to grind out.

You don't get 4,000 cups without paying, no matter how good your strategy is.

Strategy- paying is only by choice, and everything money can buy in Clash can be otherwise obtained, so it's not pay to win.
