Why put buildings in the corner?

I am th 8 and still see many bases putting buildings in the corners. Do they not know that it makes it easier to lure cc troops and heroes when my one barbarian will stay put? They are also the easiest building to take out for 1-2%. Is there any reason I am not seeing to have them in the corners?

Well, yeah, that's kind of unneeded at TH 8.

At lower levels, it can mean the difference between 90%/2 stars and 100%/3 stars against a poor opponent.

Yea actually during the last war on my feeder i raided with ballons and ended up getting 99% for my first raid???all because of that builder hut in the corner..

Putting buildings in the corner has its ups and downs. It gives the attacker a place to lure cc and king and queen without haveing to spam multiple troops just tryingto get them there

It gives them free buildings
If the attacker is unaware they are there it may give the defender more of a chance of not being 3 starred
