So my clan recently made a YouTube channel and I'm trying to find a good screen recorder for android... idc if it needs root my device is rooted.

Since you got a rooted device your in luck because all the screen recorders need root (well most of them do). The app which i think would work well would be SCR Screen Recorder. You can get pro if you just download it off the Internet! Good luck with your youtube channel!
