Loot is still Terrible

It's brutal for me also. I tend to mix it up between giant based and BAM (and mass dragon when I'm away from my device for a while). I'm at 1900 trophys and the only bases I'm seeing with good loot is th10s with ITs. There are very few bases that I can hit with a th9 giant army without using spells to get decent loot. And the use of more than 1 spell just ruins your ability to raid consistently and get 1 million per hour.

And for all of you storage raid guys. You need to farm 1 billion gold to max th9 walls. How can you do that if you don't average at least 1 million per hour? It can't be done in any timely manner without collector raids...which really have been nonexistent since December.

I use 21 giants, and 3-4 healers. If you stack 4 healers in 1 barracks it takes an hour. and 15 giants is the max in 1 barracks and that takes about 30min alone. How about you post the ratio of giants/healer/wb/minions you use. Because I use about 20 giants 3 healers, 5 wbs, 14 wizards, and 6 archers along with 6 barbs. The spells I use is healing, lightning, and 2 rage. The spells alone take 2 hours and 30 minutes. I don't know about you but I don't go into raids without having all my resources available. Its hard to take you seriously now, because I am CERTAIN that giant healer strat will not take 21 minutes to build unless you are a TH8 or something. I am a TH9 with 220 housing space available. And looking for collector raids using archers and barbs isn't being "lazy" its called being EFFICIENT. It's spending a small amount of elixir and looking for nice big raids.

I'm a new TH8 still with lvl 4 troops (archers finish tonight yay) and I've been just bringing 5 giants and 8 wb in addition to about 80 archers and the rest barbs. I feel it gives me some versatility to get enough on the outside for a 50% win since I'm climbing in cups but also I can break into storages two layers in by focusing on one side of a base and I generally attack TH8 and TH9 because they usually have the dark elix which is what I'm currently farming.

I usually am constantly training heal and rage to use on occasion when needed. I imagine 5 lvl 6 giants and lvl 6 archer/barb would be even more powerful to probably break in 3 layers deep on TH8 and TH9. I'm farming in Gold II and sometimes Gold III with this strategy.

I don't see the need to build up a massive giant healer army. Why not just throw in a few extra giants to your BARCH. It unlocks many relatively easy to hit storages especially against poorly designed TH8s. Plus you can drop a heal spell every now and then when u really need it.

I find this to be incredibly efficient and almost as quick as building a straight barch army.

I mostly farm Crystal 1 and collector raids have sucked mud since clan wars other than on the Saturday after its release (last Sat) but storage raids are decent and some more accessible than before due to CW IMO. I've adapted to hitting one storage after I snipe a TH (being in C1 as a TH 7) so obviously my troop compo is weak compared to most others and only getting about 75K-100K gold plus league bonus (another 55K so not bad and not great).

There are way fewer easy collector raids and fewer TH snipes too so it is more of a chore now for me at least.

PS- I didn't vote due to the two extremes represented but my opinion being more in the middle with slight bent toward not as good.

You call that a farming army?! Bwahahahaha. Wow.

I'm TH9 myself with 220 spaces and I farm with the following... normally between 1700-2100 trophies.

2 healers
12-14 giants
5-8 wallbreakers
30 barbs
30-40 archers
whatever is left in minions
(or sometimes I use 6-8 L5 hogriders and only 10 giants and no minions)

20-24 minutes total. I rarely need to use more than one spell myself with this army, sometimes two but that's it so no, I never have to wait on spells with this army make up. What in the heck are you thinking using so many giants and healers? And what is up with the wizards?! This is not a farming army at all.

And in your case you're obviously not being efficient as you're not finding loot but I guarantee you're having to pass up on many storage raids with barch. So no, that goes with the dictionary meaning of being inefficient. The amount of nexting you are having to do for smaller raids is obviously less than what you could do with a different army going for storages. Simple statistics in this case.

I'm finding the loot is better then normal. Im farming at 1500 to 1600. I have found 3 300k gold plus raids in the past 40 minutes.

As soon as I hit 1600 it was like the flood gates opened today I got a string of 299k each, 224k each, 154k each, 202k each... all collector raids. Plus just got two super easy 1k de raids in a row lol. one with the storage outside the walls.... and another just one layer in and pretty easy.

I wanted to test the validity of an earlier post's claim about their being fantastic loot in higher leagues. So i have pushed up into Master League. Loot is literally everywhere. Before now, i have been farming DE in C2 with the miniball army combo. Both heroes are now lvl 15 after about 2 months of work with them, as well as having farmed 134 lvl 9 wall pieces. Loot is available, but us TH 9s have to stop relying solely on collector raids and start looking for full storages.
