So, on my second account, our leader keeps on accepting Clan War invitations. This is our 3rd one already. I left and hoping I wouldnt be in CW anymore, but you guessed it, I was still in Clan Wars! I hate this, I wanna farm very bad. Please SC, let us opt out if we want to.

you dont HAVE to do the cw, you can literally stay in the clan and farm like normal, ur attacks are not limited to the 2 attacks given to you,

OP I agree with you also.

My clan leader declared war yesterday after a whole load of people had changed their base back to a farming base....a few still had their TH in the corner and haven't been online since our last disastrous war.

I'm hoping with the clan losing twice in a row now...... they may think it's time to give it a break for a while.

The complaints in this thread have nothing to do with ability to raid hard bases. It's the time it takes out of the regular farming game that is the real issue. Having to lock in a high trophy base when you're farming at low trophies sucks. It means you need to stay on shield or risk losing a lot of resources before the base is "locked" into the war when the prep day ends. Just the time it takes to wait for spells and tier 3 troops also for so little reward. The bonus you win is less than what I spend on troops and spells for the war. It's just not worth it, at least in my situation...

Waiting hours for spells and heavy troops is annoying and expensive. And for what? 1 million in gold max and 4-5k de? I spend more on the troops and spells I have to use in the war battles than I get back in rewards.

Come on, it's two raids over 24 hours. Cook up one army while you sleep and one while you're at work/school.

Sure if you use mass drags you won't make a profit in elixir, but you'll make a load of gold (if you win the war), which is what most farmers are after. And it's not mandatory to use your strongest possible army - you can make a decent contribution with balloons, hogs, even giant-healer.

Agree about the pain of switching base around and timing the lock-in though. Really hope they fix this in the next update.

Its very hard to farm when your armies cost 760k elixir and also trying to save up for lvl 6 archers. Oh, and I also have a trophy base so I cant protect my loot as well.

I love clan wars and would do one everyday if could but I understand you and face scrapers POV the cost vs reward is sad. Perhaps bonuses of 1-1.5 mil depending on the base ? And 4-5.500 De per base ?
Think about it 2-3 mil gold Nd elix and 8-10,000 DE certainly would make these wars very veery worthwhile
Also the arranging base problem needs to be address I'm lucky and my base is actually a trophy base but with storages in so I dont go through it :$
