Past:
When I first got into the game back in
November I did some research and ended up finding Simon Tay, Flammy,
and Patrick(PlayClashofClans) to probably be some of the more
established youtubers for CoC. While I found all three of their
information entertaining I would have to say I learned the most from
simon's early content and Flammy's “lets play” series.
Present:
Now there's at least 30 or so youtubers
basically trying to follow the trend but IMHO providing the same
information others have in the past. Of course within those thirty
you have that small handful (hannibal, pingfao, moe to name a few)
that have been able to provide a different outlook on trophy
hunting/farming/base setups using various troop combinations. Even
though I find only a few worth while, I have probably watched all of
the up and coming youtubers just to show my support as I appreciate
what they are doing for the coc community ;p
Plus there's just some that are way too
hilarious and/or entertaining not too watch ( I think Gods0n might
fit in this category :] )
Future:
I guess since my two accounts are
TH8/TH7 I was hoping to find more youtubers that are providing
refreshing content for trophy hunting, revenge hunting, base analysis
and farming but at higher trophy counts
1700-3000.
My questions for you all are:
- Are there any current youtubers
that provide these kinds of videos? I haven't had that much luck
finding them. - Who are your favorite you-tubers
and why? - For the newer members of the CoC
community who would you recommend them to watch and why?
Sometimes I spend weeks looking for
things that are right in front of me but since these Youtubers don’t
do a lot of self promotion I never see/hear about them.

P.S. A little bit about me: A 31-year
old video gamer who used to play various FPS and RTS games
competitvely throughout my high school and college years( quake,
warcraft). I revamped my lifestyle in 2004 and picked up competitive
bodybuilding for the last 7 years as a alternative to my indoor
addictions. I was able to use my addictive mindset to best bodybuilder i can be naturallly and
was forunate enough to earn my Pro Card in 2011. After
getting married in 2012 I have realized that I can't put it in the
hours I used to but have honestly not found a quality game to play
until I picked up COC for my iphone in November of last year.
Currently working overnights, I now have more time on my hands and am
basically searching the forums in btwn battles to learn more about
COC's “end game.”
