Thread: accidentally bought shield, help!!!

    My daughter was playing with my phone as it was charging next to the couch. I finally finish cleaning my dishes and I sit down next to her to enjoy some TV and clash. She's three. Next thing I know my phone is unplugged and I have a 7 day shield. I love raiding and hate shields. Can I email support to get my gems back? Or should I just go and kick the cat again?

    I was close to buying 100$ of gems once . Luckily, I have it set so I have to type a password before any IAPs

    Leave the cat alone . In this case, they might give you a refund, but I highly doubt it.

    My 2 year old daughter

    Has bought shields for me and my wife. She seams obsessed with that shield button. I have a ipad so the game's always open. My wife has a iphone and is always showing my daughter children's youtube videos.Anyway can you improve that button so it's a little harder to spend 250 gems or more ? Thank you!

    Even with the shield you can still break it and attack. Only the gems are lost. There really could be worst. She could have gemmed your th straight from 7 to 10 :P

    You can send sc an email but dont expect them to refund your gems or reply back in the timely fashion you want them to. A while back, i accidentally bought a one week shield and emailed sc to see if i can get a return on my gems. I wasnt about to throw my gems i worked so hard away so i kept the shield. Sc responded ten minutes before the shield was about to go down saying they cant refund my gems because it was used to better my camp. Its ok because im proud to say I have never spents a dime on coc and dont plan in spending any in the future.

    A refund will not happen. My friend's 2 year old daughter somehow got ahold of my phone and gemmed the required 2-3 mil gold needed for an archer tower upgrade (1,000 gems). Not sure how it happened, but whatever. I emailed SC about it saying I am much happier canceling the upgrade and having my gems back instead of continuing.

    Their reply,
    "I am terribly sorry to hear that someone have used your gems by accident. Since the gems were used to make a positive impact on your village, and we are not able to undo that action, we are unfortunately unable to offer a refund."

    Well, needless to say, I undid the action by canceling the upgrade myself, getting half of the gold required for the upgrade back and losing out on $10 worth of gems.
    PS, I canceled the upgrade because my focus is on war and I want to keep my matchup ranking lower. And we all know that defense is the weight there.
