First off I want to mention that this is my first ever base deign thread so please cut me some slack

The Eclipse

The Eclipse offers a transformer base that is a perfect fit for any Town Hall 9 players looking for a base for Clan Wars

As my Clannies would say, "This base f*cks sh*t up!"
**I am not using this base at the moment but wanted to know any thoughts or suggestions on it
Pros:

-Features an Anti-Hog Ring which will be troublesome for any Hog users
-Two Wizard Towers and two Air Defenses and air bombs in the core do a great job against Balloons
-Giant Bombs are placed next to each other to help halt any Hog-Rider attacks
-2 possible places where double giant bombs may be make it hard for Hog attackers to know where to attack
-Strategic funneling will cause giants to fly off of the map
-No free buildings making it harder to lure heroes and Clan Castle troops out
-Not a generic base and attackers will not know trap placement and tesla placement

Cons:

-Clan Castle and Heroes are lurable

Trophy Version




Farming Version - Note - feel free to swap the gold mine in the core for any other building. I only put it there to keep most of my buildings symmetric. Also the Clan Castle can be swapped with the Dark Elixir





Trap Placement - Note- the builders' huts occupy the other possible placement of the giant bombs.





Defense Placement - Yes, I consider my always-filled Clan Castle as a defense






Defense Logs -Sorry for lack of serious raids, this base is relatively new :/NOTE- In no raid so far have I surrendered more than 2 storages in total (when these pictures were taken, my storages were nearly maxed which explains why I lost so much from only losing 1 of each storage and the mines and pumps)





Clan Wars Defenses - It took 21 max wizards, 2 golems, full spells, and both heroes to barely get 1 star, and a strong balloon-drag-minion combo failed! They even had time to plan these attacks!!





Overall Ending Comments

- Unlike most of the popular Clan War bases for TH9, this base is completely new and innovative, thus meaning that the attacker will have never faced a base like this and will be unaware of trap placement and tesla placement (unless of course they stumble across this thread).

- Also, some people may also ask why I purposely placed both heroes and Clan Castle on the same side. This is to make it harder for people to kill all three. If they were in different places, then 3 minions could take out King and maybe 10 barbarians could knock out Queen. I wanted to try to drown out the attacker and make it harder to kill all 3 of my defensive forces by placing them all near each other

- Lastly Please leave any thoughts or comments about my first ever base design thread (Try to keep it positive, Thanks)

- I am not currently using this base, just receiving input until I come closer to perfecting the layout, thanks

Cool base, will give it a try. One question, xbows up or down? Also I moved the archer towers that are next to giant bombs one space toward the AD. From the AD to the WT was 6 spaces and also it was 6 spaces to the AT. We know hogs go to next closest defense so I could see it being a problem if the hogs killed the AD and headed toward the WT in the core!

I would keep x-bows down bc all of those air bombs and the two air defenses do an exceptional job against any air attacks by them selves. Also the base has been tested by hogs and they do follow the merry go round but feel free to tweak it to your taste. Hope the base works well for you

These are some pretty good defense logs if you ask me...


First off, awesome base man! I will use this once I reach TH9!
Is there any chance of a TH8 version? If not, I could try to make one...
