    First of all the troop combination is wrong. I would pick the following troop combo if my army camp capacity is 200 numbers

    29 Hogs * 5 = 145
    8 wiz * 4 = 32
    20 archers + 3 barbs
    Castle troop = lvl 5 hogs ( so it is 34 hogs in total )

    This worked for me all time. Sometimes I used to carry a hog extra reducing wiz and arch.

    PS: I would trigger the double giant bomb at the beginning of raid itself as the location is pretty much predictable

    Sorry, but I still don't see you getting more than 2* with that setup. I've seen Hogger clans still fail with lvl4 hogs even when they knew where all the traps were.

    Regardless of what you think you might do, this base has worked better than two of the other popular anti-defense-targeting TH8 bases, namely Roundhouse [burnt to a crisp by drags] and even Ataraxia [easy to make it to the core once you figure out its weakness].

    Happy Customer!!!

    My first post in the forum, i had to. I am using HexxenHammer's base variation and have been attacked 5 times in a single war, one defended and four 1 stars. I'll let the screenshots speak for themselves of how happy i am with the base.

    Note: The Witch in my CC lured away most of the drags when they reached the core. This happened with all the dragon attacks. As for the hog attack, the two bombs killed them all instantly.

    Not anti-hog

    Any skilled hog attacker can place 1-2 hogs in the double bomb spot to trigger the bomb. Once the double bomb is down hogs and proper spells will wipe this base. No base is truly anti hog unless the double bomb is near impossible to trigger or there are too many spaces to check.

    I think that's true for any kind of base, it's all about the right base and the right opponent, and i got it right this time .

    You don't need one of the DGB to hit a bunch of hogs to hold them to one star. That's just icing on the cake really. The spring traps will take care of more than half of them, and the Barb King/Skelly Traps/AT in the core will wear down the rest.

    The design itself is just as important as the traps, as the defensive layout compels hogs to hop around the ring mindlessly while they get picked off. I've posted battle logs where the opposing clan knew the trap locations and still managed one star. Jumping on a Giant Bomb wasn't the reason, obviously.

    my first post! i'd like to thank mimobg and hexenhammer, used this base for my last clan war and i am quite pleased. attacked five times, defended twice one starred twice and two stars on last attack.
