first I didn't mean to say I was calling you greedy or a control freak.

however I think we both just proved the point. As a previous poster said perspective is everything. Luckily humans in general are blessed with empathy so we can appreciate the actions of another aren't always what we think them to be motivated by.

just as you would have disliked it if I had called you those things, knowing your own reason for doing what you do; I get a little annoyed at the idea that if I go into someone's RSS and they happen to have full shelves of everything I need and I buy it that somehow that's a rude and inconsiderate action.

Also my remark about the rules being changed was expressing my opinion that IF they were it would affect npmy own enjoyment of this game.

i admit that when I'm close to having a boat leave and put something enticing on sale with ad and someone swoops in and doesn't fill my crate but does buy my bait it bugs me. . So I can understand that being terribly frustrating to have it go on for days and days. I try to tell myself that maybe they just don't have enough of what my crate requires.

I know that's often the case for me when I'm running through the dd for !.

I'm not totally sure that my ad immediately disappears though as I've gone to ads that were sold already through the DD.

I didn't exactly say that you were calling me a control freak or any of those things. I gave a hypothetical scenario since you gave one yourself. Honestly, so long as I'm not committing some grave mistake, I don't really care what someone else thinks of me and not especially if they are just random people that I meet on the internet. Besides, everyone is entitled to their opinion.

The ads go through cycles. So even if your stuff is sold, it may still be on the same cycle and others can still get to your shop.

34 times? Seriously?? Or 34 bins in your rss? I had someone who bought 20 over items within a short span of time and my shop only has 24 bins out of which 20 are "active". I think many people help others regardless of what they have for sale in their shops. I usually do that too unless I have bought quite a few premium stuff then I feel obliged to offer at least some help in return. But even if their shop is empty, it will not stop me from helping. What's frustrating is when you help them quite a lot and all they do is clean out your stall and almost never return the help. They may very well think they're helping me by buying my stuff, but unfortunately, I don't see it that way. If all I wanted was for my stuff to sell and sell fast, I would advertise.

I find it strange that you last helped her a long time and she's not a follower yet she can still find you. Has this person ever been a gc or Facebook friend?

Not 34 bins, 34 x16 crates.... And yesterday was a lighter day And also intercepted trades. No she is not a Facebook friend or Game Center friend nor is she a follower. Last time I helped her was almost a month ago. I find it really weird too. I always help whomever I can stranger, neighbor or follower and the irritating part is she has never helped once. Yes... Followers even strangers can buy out my whole shop and I would be happy to see it.

I was not talking about when I advertise an one person buys out my whole shop... This makes me happy, but for instance tonight I needed help with my boat and she constantly bought out bought out the entire shop three times in a row. Mind you did not help one of my crates but made it nearly impossible for anyone else to help me. I don't have any diamonds so I have to wait 5 min to advertise again. Grr

I agree with the person who said SC should get rid of the last helper tab. The drawbacks outweigh the benefits. It discourages people from helping.

I don't have a problem with the last helpers tab. I find it very useful. Sometimes when GC is acting up, the names of the people who have helped u don't appear. U send off ur boat and click on ur trees without knowing who helped. The last helpers tab comes in very handy in those situations. I like to know who helped me and use that tab to return the favor if I could. What needs to be fixed or modified is not being on one's last helpers tab if we helped a random stranger in the DD. I would love to help these people but do not want the added attention of being on their last helpers tab. Until something's done, I will stay out of that kitchen to avoid being burnt :/

Agree, limit the time someone can be on last helpers tab might be considered too. 5 days seem enough to return the favor, either by helping or buying. Any thoughts?

A simple option to let us delete ourselves from their last helpers tab would be good but since there is no way of doing that, 1 day is way more than enough for me

Another way would be for SC to create a new tab to show us who we've helped. And giving us the option to delete that person the same way we delete our followers. Once we delete them, we would no longer appear on their last helpers tab. A little bit more complicated and highly unlikely from SC's part.

why don't you change your farm name to your GC name, or FB name (a special one just for gaming so they don't see all yiur real info) so that your followers can contact you and become friends? You can have far more friends than farms to follow.

that would have the benefit of you not needing to go to DD to help farms, you will get enough popping up through your helpers tab.

My problem with stalkers is not with people buying things from my roadside shop. It is all the unrequested friend requests over facebook whenever I like a photo or comment on a post. I know they are trying to get more friends, etc. but it sure is downright irritating! I only friend people on facebook that I know.

I actually thought of making my farm name my GC name. My only concern is that I don't want anyone who happens to visit my farm to add me as and when they like and then I get a whole lot of spam. I still advertise from time to time when I need help for boats. So I am worried that will happen. Anyway, I have already stopped helping through the DD. I would rather get lesser gift cards each day than have to go through all these again...

Having had someone persistently stalk my stand after I helped them with their boat, I feel your pain, rachrabbit!

I had to wait it out, too, and when I must have been about to drop off my stalker's latest helpers tab because he/she started following me - but never helped my trees or boats and always had an empty RSS. I was thrilled to delete this person from my followers tab. They never showed up again. Goodbye and good riddance!

Although I understand anyone can buy anything (and everything) on my RSS, like you, I like to see my friends and neighbors get some premium items for all the help they provide. For this reason, I went from helping anyone I could to almost never helping unknown players.

Your strategy sounds like a good way to discourage them while waiting them out. Good luck!
