Personally I wish supercell would get rid of "last helper" it's garbage. I have a lot of friends on a much smaller & close nit forum and I have essentially stopped helping anyone with boats who's not a friend due to the fact I don't want random people buying all my stuff, causing problems with trading and so on. I don't advertise so I personally don't care who helps me, I don't ever need help from outsiders to begin with nor do I care who has helped me, if I did advertise for help, on boats.

Ok. Let me give you some perspective and a little history. I think if you read what follows with an open mind then you will be able to understand and be a happy hay dayer

If you've done any reading on this issue you might have seen that it is a touchy subject. People seem to fall somewhere between two extremes. One one extreme are the people who are very controlling and really want to control who buys from them. They seem to place motives on folks that might not exist. They worry that if they don't sell the right things to the right people, they will lose followers and think that people help them because of what they sell. One poor child even when as far as to make a spread sheet detailing who bought what and how much. Some come here with such nasty vile posts that they get warned by the mods and threads get closed. They want people who may not even read these forums to abide by rules that they made up and make threats or send nasty PMs to people who don't follow those rules. I have watched carefully and they can't maintain this high level of stress for long and most of them, including Ms spreadsheet no longer play the game. That's one end of the spectrum.

One the other end are folks who will come here with the same level of vitriol demanding that what is there in the RSS is up for grabs and anything goes. Now while that is the official stance of the game, these folks couldn't understand the view point of the people like you who seemed to have acquired a zealous follower. I was originally in this camp, but that was mainly because the hatred spewed towards the unknown buyer bothered me. They were called stalkers, greedy, leeches, and many other names that they didn't deserve just because they were taking advantage of great sales and opportunity that the game rewards. They couldn't defend themselves and I felt I had to defend them.

Ok. I now realize that these are extremes. What this person is doing to you isn't illegal or even wrong BUT. I understand that sometimes it just feels creepy to have them always there. Sort of like the younger kid at school that just hangs around all the time being annoying. You think your own friends will make fun of you if you let him tag along and annoy them too.

    So here is my advice.
First reconcile yourself to the fact that they aren't doing anything wrong.
Don't let yourself fall into the first extreme, keeping track of who buys what and refusing to help others on the off chance you will encounter another like him.
Don't worry about your other friends. They won't leave if you don't have great things for them to buy and if they did, they weren't good friends in the first place.
Don't place motive where they don't exist. I don't refuse to help a friend if he has nothing in his shop. I get XP , points and money when I fill a crate. I do it for myself and so do a lot of people. A lot of people help folks because they like that feeling of helping. They are actually thinking of themselves also when they help you. If you have something to sell, great, but they have been playing long enough to know that you have no control over who gets there first.

Now. I also understand that you don't want to feel taken advantage of and there are ways you can fix that. Sell all your stuff at Max. Your friends won't mind and if your new friend has to pay max price at least you get benefit from that.
You have two strategies that work here. Sell just a few cakes and things in between the corn bread, chili popcorn, and hats. That way he can only benefit a little from your work

OR (and I think this is the best path). Concentrate on doing your masteries with these easy to make goods. Save your creams, jams and sugar things and go ahead and let the ice cream, cake and other machines idle for a while. Make bread, corn bread, feed, popcorn, pumpkin pies, roasted tomatoes and other things that mainly use crops. Sell these things in lots of ten for max price. Your new friend only has a barn that is so large and when he fills it up, he will have to quit. When he does your other friends will buy those things (that's why I didn't suggest Bacon and eggs). These other items will use your crops so that you can continue to plant wheat and corn, which your new friend won't want either. Eventually he will find some other person to bother.

The only thing I want you to notice is the time of day that this person seems most active. If you can figure out when he sleeps you can use that time to trade in your neighborhood or connect with another friend in your own time zone to sell those cakes etc. or use your truck orders if you really need to dispose of those items you feel are premium.

This way you will benefit but you won't find yourself obsessing over someone who you can't control and who really isn't doing anything wrong. He might actually be thinking he is helping you by buying your goods.

Try this and let me know how it goes. If you lose a friend or two, go ahead and add me. Then PM me and I will suggest other folks to add who play with a more easy going attitude. This is a game and shouldn't be a cause of stress for anyone.

Ok that's all I have for now

I didn't forget. I am a level 63 player. There are more ways to sell items than the roadside shop.

Yeah another post just popped up. Someone trying to stir the pot? Maybe but it won't last for long. Our mods don't like that sort of thing and I agree with them.

Unless they follow you, you will eventually fall off of their helper tab. If they follow you, you can delete them from your follower tab. This will pass, but there will always be raiders.

Tigg already beat me to what I was going to say but unless stalker has insomnia, at SOME point, they sleep or heck, go to work. Find out when they don't come around and sell in that window. Try that.

I wonder how they get by not asking for boat or water help though. That must be, ummm...interesting. At some point they will need berries or boat help and be forced to flag bushes or their boat.

Oh and feel free to add me as well (pm me) if you lose followers. I too sell premiums and rarely buy any unless there's chocolate cake involved...or jam
