I think this is the heart of the issue --
The game was designed so that if it is in the RSS ANYONE can buy it -- and as much or as little as they want. Period.
The only way to control who buys what is to arrange a trade.
Trying to control who buys things in your RSS is a recipe for never-ending frustration, anger, and turmoil.
Perhaps you might change your thinking about your shop: that the goods are there for anyone and everyone, and if your followers get them first, YAY! If someone else gets them, YAY! If Greg buys them, YAY! At least they are out of your barn or silo . . .

I leave my stuff unadvertised for my followers and in return, they often help with my boats and plants. Of course I don't want some random stranger to swoop them up over and over again. If all I want is for my stuff to sell and sell fast, I would advertise. But I don't really need to do that since my most of stuff don't sit in the rss for too long. Unfortunately, at this point, we don't have the ability to block someone so they can't visit our farms.
The OP is already perfectly aware of the open RSS. While many advised her politely, some answer were snippy and that is completely unnecessary. My apologies OP, and I request that those folks, please change to a more friendly tone in future.
Being forced to be a supply line for just one single person can make the game unpleasant, no matter how much coin you make from them, especially if they NEVER help you in any way either with boats, trees, or selling in their own RSS. You fear losing your followers and that's understandable. You are not whining, complaining, or making accusations like some who've posted about this in the past...which is why it's such a touchy subject. You are simply asking if there is any other advice other than what you've already read. A reasonable question.
Unfortunately, not one that has any new answers outside of those you've already read. At this point, all you can do is fill your RSS with lesser desired items and hope they decide to leave for better feeding grounds. Try to send Friend Requests to your followers. You don't say if you're iOS or Android, but if you're iOS and lucky that some of the farm names are the GC names, you may be able to fully friend them. If not, hopefully enough of them will recognize the problem and wait it out with you. If not, as stated, followers leave and other join.
While wheating has the advantages of dropping items and tools that we all always need, depending on how big your barn is, you may not be able to keep them all. Being forced to sell them may only entice this person to stay on when you're trying to get them to leave. In light of that, the suggestion to sell B&E at full price is the best one. Believe it or not, there are folks who DO need B&E occasionally, and those of higher levels don't care if it's full price. Also, if they don't sell, withing a day or 2 Tom or Greg will buy them at full price. So, things will sell slowly, but the WILL sell.

Yes, I get your point and perhaps you're right. I should be less hung up about who buys what. I only have a certain amount of control over that and another large part that I don't. Trying to consume the other half is pointless since many players have different playing styles. Even among my followers, some are heavy shoppers while others come in to buy only 1 or 2 items each time.

Thanks Cricks, for the suggestion. I have decided to sell all the wooly stuff that I stacked outside the loom for a long time and to advertise any premium item I have to prevent this person from getting it. This will go on for days depending on how persistent he or she can be. In the meantime, the rest will have to wait.
Thanks to all the above for their replies.
