RuneScape is in it's death-throes
Halo 2

I only included games I've played, which were still played even after a new one came out, and had a massive online playerbase. Hundreds more are gone. It's only a matter of how long it lasts.

I dunno guys...you all know a lot of unbelievably great games that have been around for 2 decades of even more. of course it will die...but like coc is pretty much the first game for tablets and phones to be a resource using base protecting thing(players really don't want to just leave it), and my guess is coc will have to die after it gets too complicated and maybe move on to a sequel or something

Sometimes with luck, another hundred comes in. If some players are passionate, they will pay much to support the game. If the game is suddenly going to fall, it is likely the change of developer as well as the developer being bad, greedy and... um... bad?

So in less than a century, current staff members, will retire happily ever after. Yey.
And then new staffs and a new developer comes in.
If the developer is good, the game continues it's lifespan for another half a century. Then it depends on the new developer.
If the developer is bad and greedy, gg. All we see are ads, lack of updates, game crashes, overpriced useless stuff, mega-overpriced useful stuffs, boringness, rotten potatoes and carrots, why did I even include that, and a sad barbarian.

For 1.. SuperCell will not become bankrupt any time soon.. If they were to be coc would have to have stopped completely.. Therefore coc will not stop due to Super Cell becoming bankrupt.
Secondly, every game dies.. why? Because there will always be the next 'best' popular thing, people will move on.. Hopefully not anytime soon

Games that people move on easily are games like angry birds and flappy bird. Clash of Clans, not so much. Right now it is the best building/raiding strategy game. The only way for people to move from this game, is another game that does better. There are still many competitors. Some people left Clash for another game which I cannot mention since forums rules... Oh well.

But Clash of Clans is still more successful.

yeah, because, well, angry birds is OFFLINE...something people never get...and there isnt an account or something just levels put in your device. coc is completely different.

I just want to say it depends on Sc ====> they should add kind of stuff that doesnt need only farming or time sometimes achieving sth like an special power on kind of personalised things gonna help (I loce the game because its simple) I think the next revolutionof the game is Townhall11 Or Clan Village and diablo2 Is gone but diablo3 rocks dota is kind of dead but dota2 really Rocks, coc will be sth like this not a new a game but a big revolution will chane everything when it is needed

Eventually it will have to die. Maybe not yet. Maybe for 10 more years. But eventually it will.
