You gotta be kidding me ! Another thread that translated the FAQ to Russian was somehow closed. And you told everyone just to use their own languages ? Or make the forum multi-lingual ? Is this some kind of joke ?

I'd like to see you learning portuguese if this forum was portuguese only. It would be, at least, funny.
I'm not telling anyone to use their languages, I'm just helping some guys with another language, are you able to understand this single and easy situation?

It's been here for months, since clan wars got started.
The first FAQ was right here, so I just added a new language FAQ. Few time ago the original was moved, but I didn't move mine cause I can't.

I've always personally thought it is ignorant when people have genuine questions here on forums (I can also speak French and Spanish) and they get shut down within minutes. I have no idea why mods shut them down so fast, but my one guess is that if none of the mods themselves can understand the post, then they are unsure if any rules have been broken? Again, just my guess.

With such an international game I think it is only natural to have different languages here on forums. Sadly, it normally only takes minutes for some monoglot to come on and tell a person off for not using English. I mean really, how dare they speak a language that they themselves don't know how to speak, isn't that what google translate is for!?

Congrats on the post and bringing this up, as it has always rubbed me the wrong way.

We shut them down for a simple reason- we don't speak the language and therefore are unable to moderate those posts. Obviously the game is international, with a variety of languages, but it isn't feasible for a moderated forum to allow users to always post in their native languages.

Google Translate is a good tool for non-native speakers to ask their questions on the forums, but that's something the individual posters must do, because frankly mods already have plenty to do without having to figure out what people are saying.

I'm sorry, but rules are rules. English-only.
