Mastermind's Saved Base Layouts Idea (with LOTS of pictures!)

A) how in the heck do you have time to make fake screens and put together a ridiculous proposal for a company that does not pay you a red cent?

B) the share aspect has so many flaws that I can't even get into them, not the least of which is it requires the sharee to have every single purchased building, wall, and decoration as the sharer. the odds of matching perfectly are slim and none.

C) its a million times easier to shop little villages into fake screens than it is to code software that has to work on every conceivable platform to render little model bases onto the Layout # buttons. this could never happen.

D) read a book!

i don't like the idea of sharing layouts, it will encourage people to copy another's layout which is no fun at all.

No one is forcing you to share your layouts, if you care so much about your fellow CLAN MATES copying the base....

I do agree with B) though. They might need to take the Share feature out if they even try to implement this.


I do love the effort you put Mastermind, but TBH it really is excessive and unneccesary. I feel like you are wasting time doing this than farming! While the last sentence was a joke, Im serious. SC should KNOW they need to implement this, and if they don't they dont need this big ♥♥♥ news flash telling them so. Dont think this will convince SC to get the update going any faster, as they still will be sitting on a fat pile of cash.
Pretty sure they are working on the kinks and tweaking the clan wars matchmaking a bit too, which is more important than switching a base layout for clan wars.

For the meantime, use those transformer bases!

Once you tap the Share button, a box will appear that looks exactly like a Share Replay box. Type in the message you want to appear with it in clan chat and hit Send.



I disagree for this one.If you put this settings then you will only see the same base structures
again and again which is boring

He has permission from Daddy and a few other mods to keep it here for a few days, then it will be moved. He mentions it near the beginning of this paragraph.

Mastermind, I sent you a PM suggesting an idea since I see a few people are critical of the "share layout" feature.

Edit: I'll paste the PM here since you asked me to, Mastermind!

When a player shares his/her saved base layout in clan chat, once a different player also town hall 9 clicks "Save Base Layout", it should take them to the village edit mode but all buildings they don't have simply won't show up on the map. For example, if I am a new th 9 and I want to copy your design, if I press save, it will open up village edit mode and everything will be in place except the items I don't have I.g. X-bows, aq, etc. Then, they can make some changes there if needed and THEN they can press save layout or use village. Let me know what you think!
