Wow, what an awesome thread... so detailed... its perfect... SUPERCELL NEEDS TO DO THIS ASAP!!!
I don't get why features of lesser importance/less helpful features seem to be prioritized/are considered over this one!I somewhat get the feeling that they're planning to rule this one out!
This feature has been requested for over a year now (probably even more than two years already). This would be a really big help for players who has times when they can't play for days/weeks; I had to rearrange mine when I'm inactive and then go back to my default layout when I'm active again.
This would probably bring a tear to my eye when I see those buttons in this game one day....
This best Feature Request/post I've read so far!!!
I agree ill give it a score 1-10 ITS 10!!!!
One of best ideas i ever seen!
That is a good idea
Thanks so much everyone! Glad you like this idea, sorry I haven't been able to check back here as often![]()

you should have suggested that we must buy with gems the slot we're going to use to save our layouts. like how we get builders.. the more slots we buy the cost of gem goes up accordingly.. ^^
He pretty much included that in his suggestion. Having the number of saved layouts coordinate with the number of builder huts is spending gems to get more saved layouts. This is meeting in the middle as opposed to paying gems for both builders and layout spots. SuperCell knows how to be fair with in-game purchases.
Great post Mastermind! Yet another vote from me. I just registered on the forum for the purpose of getting behind this idea (and making a few suggestions of my own).
SuperCell: I totally get that a change like this would be a big server hog, but ask around, I bet there are some features with less use that you could pull server space from. I for one rarely watch replays that are more than a day old. Scrub replays more frequently and give that space to saved layouts! Same with saved war details. If I'm going to watch war replays, I'm going to do it once the war is over, learn from those and make adjustments. I'm not going back 2 wars to watch replays again. Dropping all those replays would free up a crazy amount of space. I'm sure some watch them again, but I bet they're the minority. Either way, you have the data. Look at how often the 2 wars ago replays get viewed, I bet it's not much.
Anyway! I'm not saying anything new when I say this is a fantastic idea and a needed one for active players.
