I've seen some solid and simple suggestions for Clan Wars that I agree with. One I haven't seen so far is to tie the loot bonus to the number of stars won in battle.
Currently, loot bonus is fixed and you get the full amount whether you just deploy a few troops and pick on a base with an unguarded TH or you bring the heat and three star the same base. The latter should be rewarded more than the former. Picking on easy 1 stars doesn't do much to help your side in a Clan War it seems, whereas 3 starring a base is very valuable because it means nobody else need use any of their attacks on that base.
Here's my suggestion.
Assume there's currently a base with a loot bonus of 200k/200k/200. With the old system, getting any amount of stars get that exact loot bonus. Under my proposal it would look like this:
1 star: Loot bonus of 100k/100k/100. You only got one star and therefore get a reduced bonus.
2 stars: Loot bonus of 200k/200k/200. Not bad, you launched a decent attack and two stars can never be a "freebie" like with 1 star victories. You get the regular bonus.
3 stars: Loot bonus of 300k/300k/300. You had the best possible result and therefore get an extra large loot bonus.
Players should be incentivized to get 2 and 3 star attacks, since those are the ones that are really helpful in Clan Wars it seems to me, and I think this rule change would accomplish that with a simple tweak.
